Urgent: We Need a Booster Club Treasurer!
The Booster Club officer nomination deadline passed and we have not received any nominations for the position of Treasurer. According to the WB Director of Student Activities, it is required that we fill all booster officer positions. If we do not meet this requirement, the booster club will disband, and the funds will be donated to the district.
We are looking for one volunteer to fill this open position, but it could be filled by two people who act as co-treasurers. It is crucial for everyone to understand that these roles are required for us to remain operational. Last year, due to busy schedules, the booster volunteers held a mix of monthly Zoom calls or met during practices and communicated via email as needed.
What does the Treasurer do?
Attend the monthly booster meeting - the Treasurer’s report will include all transactions that took place prior to the meeting.
Signer on the booster bank account at Huntington Bank, "keeper" of the checkbook
Process reimbursement check requests
Manage our Parent Booster USA account (which handles our annual tax filing)
Update ledger and reconcile between the school account and the booster account
If you’d like to volunteer as the MTB Booster Club Treasurer or have questions about the role, please email wblmtb.booster@gmail.com. Our goal (and final deadline) is to fill this position by Friday, Aug 1.
Cub Foods Fundraising Day: Aug 16
We have secured a morning slot for a Cub Foods Bagging fundraiser on Aug 16.
This is a great chance for our team to engage with the community and raise funds for team activities. Please make sure to sign up in advance!
Saturday, August 16, 2025 10-2pm
Dress code: Jersey or WBL gear, long pants without holes, closed-toed shoes
Max: 8-10 baggers per shift + 2 adult volunteers per shift.
This counts towards the volunteer commitment for lettering.
