Who can join?

Co-ed students who attend the White Bear Lake school district public schools in grades 7-12 can all be part of the team!

When is the team’s season?

Our team practices start the first week or second week of July, with races beginning in late August/early September. The season extends through the middle of October.

How do practices work?

Our team practices at local trails two times per week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, with an optional practices some weekends. Team members are split into smaller groups based on experience and skill, then coached to grow their skills in bike handling, endurance and trail riding.

How do races work?

Teams race five times per year against other teams, separated by age group/skill level. Races span the entire weekend, Saturdays being for Middle School students, with Sundays dedicated for High School racers. Races are in various locations around the state. See our 2023 Team Events for more info.

What equipment do I need?

A trail-worthy mountain bike, helmet, water bottle, athletic shoes, team jersey and black shorts, and an extra bike tubes. Talk to our coaches for more details.
