🚨 Immediate volunteer positions needed to fill - action item for all families:
Volunteers are the cornerstone of our operations, helping to create a smooth and safe experience for our student-athletes. With 50+ riders and over 20 coaches, it takes a collective effort from all families to support our team and maintain our high standards of organization and safety. Right now, we have critical roles open, and only 2 families have stepped up so far. With 50 riders on this team, we need more hands.
Booster Club President (2-year term) — URGENT
We currently have a Treasurer and Secretary in place, but no President. This role sets the agenda for our monthly meetings during the season. Without a President, our Booster Club, by school requirement, cannot continue. This is the most urgent need we have.
Fundraiser Coordinator
We fundraise to cover things like team photos, team and senior banners, race-day nutrition, and the season banquet. This role leads that effort and it's needed ASAP.Race Day Food Coordinator & Race Day Snack Coordinator
We're open to reimagining how these roles work this year, but we need someone to lead them.Banquet committee
Love planning events? This one's for you. The Banquet Committee plans our annual end-of-season celebration, typically held at Dellwood Country Club. You would help with everything from the menu to the decor to how the night flows. It's one of our most fun committees to be part of, and we're looking for 2-3 more people to help plan this year!Communications Manager
Melissa Telsrow has run this role for three years and is ready to hand it off. It covers weekly team communications and connecting coaches with families. Melissa will co-run the role with the next person for a full year, so you'll get complete training before taking it solo next year.
Sign up for lot parent, 2x per season request
Expectation: 2 practices per season per family.
An essential volunteer role is that of the Lot Parent during practices. We ask each family to commit to serving as Lot Parent for 2 practices per season. It's a wonderful opportunity to get to know the team and connect with other parents/guardians while supporting our student-athletes.
